How to Use:

  • Sealant Application: Apply at temperatures between +41°F and +95°F. Cut the nozzle for the desired bead size and apply with a caulking gun. Place a backer rod in deep joints to ensure correct sealant depth.
  • Tooling: Tool the joint surface before skin formation and remove masking tapes promptly. Allow to dry before exposing to moisture or painting.
  • Remarks & Restrictions: Should not be applied for sealing joints permanently exposed to water. Not suitable for use in case of risk of rain or frost.

I needed to re-caulk a bathtub & came across this product. I was familiar with the brand based on other products that I've purchased, so I thought that I would give it a shot - and I was not disappointed. The bottle came with a nozzle that a made application simiple, accurate & precise. It has seemed to have adhered pretty well, so no complaints there either. If I had to find one issue with this product - it is that you need to make sure to remove any excess (from the application or your hands) pretty quickly. Once it dries, it defintely becomes significantly more difficult to remove. I'm happy to recommend this product to others.

I ordered the Stanley Ultra Performance Caulk Acrylic Sealant - Painters' Acrylic Latex Interior & Exterior Caulk for Cracks and Ceiling, Waterproof, White, 10.1 fl.oz. 1 Pack (Ultra Performance Caulk, 1 Pack). The good: The applicator tip that comes with this caulk is five star. Every tube of caulk should come with one! The caulk went on smoothly and looks great dry. The bad: We had a heck of a time opening the tube. We used a drill and just had to keep at it before finally we got a hole in the top. That was a pain in the butt, but as mentioned above, the application was great and we would definitely buy this caulk in the future. Good caulk and can recommend.

It comes in a standard sized tube with a screw-on application nozzle that can be cut to size the chalk bead. A cap screws over the end of the nozzle to keep the chalk fresh between uses. This caulk applies easily and makes a great bead. It also cleans up quickly. The caulk is paintable and looks great.

I have tried to seal, adhere and caulk these handles I don't know how many times. Everything I would try would just pry off right away and let water leak again. I have tried literally 4 or 5 different products. It doesn't SAY it is for this use, but I had tried everything else! I needed something that would stick those suckers to the surround wall. This went on super easy, thanks to the nozzle it came with--that was a first for me, and I really appreciated the accuracy I was able to get with it. It really did give amazing adhesion to the handles, and looks great too! It didn't have much odor, which is also great since my bathroom is small and paint type odors can be overwhelming. It did say it was "easy" soap and water clean up. I don't know that I would call it easy. It did clean up, but if you let it dry just a bit, it won't come off your hands without some scrubbing. It cleaned up good on my bathroom tile, but I had to work fast. This tube is going to go a long ways, so I plan to try it outside to see how well it works in the elements. I would definitely get this again for tough small repairs.

This was easy to use, dispensed without any irregularities, and has a cap so you can reuse it a few weeks later if need be. We painted over it with no issues at all unlike the cheaper stuff I've seen used in our home that we've had to remove because the paint didn't go over it. Great product.
