Stanley A770 is a high-performance, one-component hybrid polymer adhesive engineered for professional construction needs. As a high tack adhesive, it delivers strong initial grab and long-term bond strength—ideal for fixing heavy materials without clamps or tape. This versatile construction adhesive adheres to a wide range of surfaces, offering excellent elasticity, UV resistance, and durability in both indoor and outdoor applications.
Features & Benefits:
- Extreme Initial Grab: Instant tack allows vertical application without support.
- No Solvents or Isocyanates: Free of phthalates, silicones, and harmful chemicals.
- Permanent Elasticity: Maintains bond strength under dynamic movement.
- UV & Water Resistant: Maintains durability in exterior applications.
- Paintable & Shrink-Free: No bubbling or volume loss after curing.
- Primerless Adhesion: Bonds to most substrates without primer (pre-testing recommended).
Application Areas:
- Panels & Cladding: Bonds wall cladding and ceiling panels with ease.
- Thermal & Acoustic Panels: Adheres to PUR, PIR, PS foam, mineral wool, and wood-wool cement.
- Frames & Fixtures: Ideal for casings, frames, ornaments, and skirting boards.
- Masonry & Roofing: Securely bonds elements like stone, concrete, metal, and fiber cement in roofing and façade systems.
- Heavy Material Bonding: Functions as a strong no more nails alternative for various polymer bonding applications.
How to Use:
- Safety Precautions: Ensure good ventilation. Wear gloves and protective equipment. Wash hands after handling.
- Surface Preparation: Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or rust.
- Application: Cut nozzle to desired size and apply adhesive using a caulking gun. Press materials firmly into place.
- Finishing: Smooth the joint with a finishing tool before skin formation (15–20 min at 73°F (23°C) / 50% R.H).
- Cleaning: Remove uncured adhesive with a damp cloth. Cured material must be removed mechanically.
