I am not a spendthrift; I search for lower prices. I am happy to report that the price for this product is MORE THAN COMPERABLE than elsewhere. I was able to purchase 2 for $14.39. The lowest price I found elsewhere was closer to $20! Not only did we save money, but to have it delivered as well? Cannot beat the price, product or the convenience of ordering this through Amazon.

I used this contact cleaner to clean some hard to reach roll over and leaf switches on one of my pinball machines. The spray worked perfectly to loosen up what ever had gotten into the contacts and stopped the machine from scoring, or activating solenoids. I sprayed the switches, and used a long nose to pull a piece of printer paper through the contacts, and walla, the machine is now scoring on the rollover switches, and the slingshots activate much more reliably. Overall I am happy with this cleaner, but wish it had come with a straw for more precise applications. However, it did a nice job of cleaning the areas that got overspray when I wiped off or soaked it up with paper towel. My favorite thing about this cleaner is you get a good quantity of it at a fair price as opposed to the smaller cans offered by other manufacturers.

Didn't come with straw dispenser to focus the stream. Have to purchase seperatly. When buying straws the diameter is important. I was ignorant of this. Quantity is great usability is limited!

I got this Stanley Contact Cleaner Spray to clean up and restore old electronics and it's always helpful to have a cleaner like this around. This helps clean electronic connections and ensure a clean, reliable contact without leaving behind a residue or any conductive oils that could cause issues with operation. There are two minor things to keep in mind with this. First it is quite strong smelling and does linger in the air a while so make sure you are aware. A couple hours after I used a small amount of this, my wife came home and was bothered by the smell. The other thing is that this does not come with a straw. This would be a really nice touch because so often you want to spray precisely and it is hard to do without a straw to pinpoint a a spot. You can easily use a straw from something else, but you need it to be a clean straw and it would just be nice if it had its own. Overall this is a great value. The can is big and will last a while so I am quite happy with it. If you're looking for a quality contact cleaner, this is a great choice.

Using this on various larger items works just fine, I needed to clean out the contacts of the 7pin connector from my camper and this did a pretty good job. Getting the winter salt out of the truck connection is a good ideas as well. I often work on smaller electronics and this spray can will work if I just blast the entire part, but having a straw would make life a lot easier.

I needed some contact cleaner and ordered this. Like others have said, it needs a straw for most applications. I tried some of my spares (you do keep all your old straws too right?) and none of them would fit the nozzle. I guess the next step would be to swap the nozzle too but I didn't try that. The other thing I found odd was that the instructions were either translated or written by someone who's primary language is not English. It is by no means difficult to understand but had nuances to it that were just weird. Considering Stanley at least used to be a US based company you would think they could have someone write proper English on the can. It says it is made in Romania so I am guessing they wrote the label as well.

I purchased this product for my son, who has a side business fixing up vintage stereos and computers. Different brand than he's used to, and I let him "try it out" on my vintage Marantz stereo knobs which tend to get crackly and scratchy every so often. The Stanley Contact Cleaner performed as expected; with a few taps of the spray he reattached the knobs, turning them a few times to work it in and they perform quietly now, like new again. This spray is lacking a tube which I knocked a star off for. You really need that for precise application into tight crevices. He will ad hoc one from another can, but Stanley really should have included a tube with this can. Other than that a quality product at a fair price.

This is a good electronic cleaner that evaporates quickly from surfaces like motherboards or electrical connections. I would give this five stars, but knocked a star off, because no straw is included although you can use a standard straw in this tip if you have other aerosol cans. Works similarly to QD electronic cleaner. Good strong spray pressure from can.

Very nice can of contact cleaner. It evaporates nice which is probably why a tube/straw is not included. I sprayed it into the pot I wanted to clean and moved the pot around and it did a really nice job.

This spray is gentle on plastics and safe to use without worry of damaging electronics. It evaporates fairly quickly.. Without a tube though, the precision is not particularly high.

I had a tube on a can of spray air that I used but if you don’t have one handy, you can’t really use it. Otherwise, it cleaned up some battery corrosion in my calculator and it is back in working shape.

This is our review for the STANLEY Contact Cleaner Spray. We ordered this contact cleaner spray to have on hand in the event that we needed it. We did some quick testing and it worked extremely well. We would say it works as well as/or better to others. Overall, this is a 5-star product. It worked very well and is a great alternative to other more expensive ones.

I tinker with electronics often, and like to clean when needed. Typically I use isopropyl with swabs, but this spray makes it really easy to clean up quick! The nozzle is easy to use, and performs as you would expect. It dries fairly fast after spraying. I've used this on many items, including amplifiers, computers, and more. It comes with a decent amount. Great for a lot of uses, and a good value for the size.

I got this to keep in my shop for cleaning pots on vintage equipment. It works as well as the other stuff everyone uses, and is a better price. No complaints.

Works well to clean terminals, didn't break off more severe corrosion but worked well on light duty cleaning.

This contact cleaner works very well. It has a minor smell to it that reminds me of lighter fluid. The spray is easily controlled because it doesn't come out with too much pressure and spray all over the place. The spray lingers for a little while and lets you use a brush, q-tips, etc., if you want. I compared this to CRC electronics cleaning spray and some IPA on circuit boards with excess flux on them. Some of the flux was really baked on from age. The CRC and this spray worked the same, and both did better than the IPA on the old stuff. This is a good all around electronics/contact cleaner.

These seems to be an effective contact cleaner much like I have used with other names on the can. It appears that Stanley has done a brand licensing deal with a workshop chemicals company based in Romania. I'm not clear what the unique value add of this "new brand" is to the North American marketplace.

You definitely needs something like this If you work with a lot of wires or if you just have an issue with wires that you need to clean, but can't get into the connector pins. Something like this works well when you have saltwater or corrosion in your pins of a fish finder. If you have exposed wires that needs a good cleaning, this is the way to go. It works well. The only downfall is that there's no straw that you can use, making it a wider spray. It won't work so well if you gave a smaller connector.

I used this to clean some contacts on a relay for my air conditioning unit. It did the job and ensured solid contact for that unit. The bottle has a generous amount of cleaner and it is easy to apply.

Its true that no straw is included, but depending on what electronics you are cleaning, you may not need one. If you do, I was able to use a straw from a can brake clean.

I used this to clean up a circuit board that had survived a high impact landing from a high powered rocket. It cleaned up the dirt and some of the old flux from when we built it. I then used it on a section of slot car track. I used a cloth to try and apply it only to the electrical rails, but a little got on the plastic track itself. I had earlier used a stronger cleaner and it had actually softened the plastic. This did not impact the plastic tracks at all. The rails do not look a lot cleaner, but the cars run much more reliably on the section I cleaned. So this seems to be a little bit of a compromise. Not quite as powerful as others I've used but a lot more gentle on plastics. Depending on your use case I highly recommend this.

This electrical cleaner works well, although it would be easier to get in those small or hard to reach areas with an extension straw/tube. Make sure to use in a well-ventilated area, so you're not breathing in the chemicals that smell like bee killer.

I use it to clean USB contacts with our student laptops. I also do a lot of soldering, but I rarely use contact cleaner to ensure clean conductivity in my solders. Overall, I like it. It seems to help bring bad USB-C ports back to life.

I have an old stereo receiver that I still use and the volume know was getting a bit static-y sounding. So, I opened up the old receiver and sprayed this contact cleaner on the volume knob and it did the job. It cleaned well and the old receiver sounds good as new. The contact cleaner dried quickly and left no residue behind.

This stuff works great for cleaning electronics and contacts. I have used this product on a sticky radio knob, on the circuit and it made it work again. My only suggestion would be for the manufacturer to add a straw to direct the spray.

This electronics contact cleaner spray works well for electrical components. I usually spray the first pass and let it dry for a few minutes before second cleaning if needed. It works on not just computer parts but also old analog devices or even corroded ones.
