Prep the Can: Before starting, ensure the can is at room temperature (around 68 °F / 20 °C) for best performance.

Shake Well: Vigorously shake the can for at least 30 seconds to properly mix the contents.

Set Up the Gun:

• Attach the can to the applicator gun securely.
• Fix the appropriate spray nozzle (Nozzle A for vertical surfaces, Nozzle B for ceilings).
• Hold the can upside down while spraying.

Adjust Foam Flow: Use the trigger and the adjustment screw on the back of the gun to control foam output.

Spray Distance:

• For vertical applications, spray from 12 to 18 inches (30 to 46 cm).
• For horizontal applications, spray from 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm).

Apply in Layers:

• Spray foam in multiple thin layers rather than one thick coat.
• For optimal insulation, apply at least three layers to reach a total thickness of around 2 inches (5 cm).
• Allow each layer to expand and partially cure before applying the next.

Clean Immediately: After use, clean the spray nozzle and applicator gun with foam cleaner to prevent clogging and ensure longevity.

Proper Nozzle Fit: The Akfix Thermcoat nozzle is engineered to attach firmly to the spray gun. Expect slight resistance as you install it. Press down until the nozzle is completely set and verify there are no gaps before use.
