Stanley All-Weather Pro Weatherseal Silicone Sealant is a neutral cure, premium performance silicone sealer designed for weather sealing and glazing applications. This versatile silicone adhesive sealant forms a highly resistant weatherproof seal on windows and building facades. It provides excellent flexibility and adhesion to numerous porous and non-porous substrates, making it ideal for large-scale construction and glazing projects. Joint sealing capabilities ensure durable and reliable sealing for a variety of applications.

Features & Benefits:

  • ± 50% Movement Capability: Allows for significant movement without losing adhesion.
  • Permanent Elasticity: Thanks to its % 100 silicone sealant formula.
  • Weather Resistant: Not affected by sunlight, rain, or snow, maintaining its properties over many years.
  • Temperature Resistance: Exceptional resistance to temperature extremes.
  • Low Odor and Non-Corrosive: Safe and pleasant to use.
  • Fast Curing: Low modulus, high elasticity, and quick setting.
  • High Viscosity: Non-slump formula for easy application on vertical surfaces.

Application Areas:

  • Weather Sealing and Joint Sealing: As a joint sealer, it is ideal for sealing walls, windows, and doors, providing a reliable seal.
  • Mounting Window and Door Frames: Ensures secure and weatherproof installation.
  • Marble and Stone Sealing: Suitable for sealing applications on marble, stone, and other porous substrates.
  • Connection and Expansion Joints: Effective for sealing connection and expansion joints.
  • Silicone Sealant Clear: Perfect for clear sealing applications where aesthetics matter.

How to Use:

  • Safety Precautions: Ensure good ventilation at the work station. Wear personal protective equipment. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product. Always wash hands after handling.
  • Surface Preparation: Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, rust, and other contaminants.Non-porous surfaces like aluminum and glass should be cleaned with a suitable solvent and dried thoroughly. Porous substrates such as concrete and brickwork must be mechanically cleaned using compressed air, sandpaper, or a hard brush. Mask off joint edges with self-adhesive tape to protect from contamination.
  • Application: Cut the nozzle to obtain the desired bead size. Apply the weatherproofing silicone sealant as evenly as possible using a professional caulking gun.
  • Finishing: Tool the joint surface with a smoothing tool to ensure full contact with the sides and backup material into the joint before skin formation. Remove masking tapes immediately after smoothing over the surface of the sealant.
  • Cleaning: Uncured product can be removed with a damp sponge. Cured product must be removed mechanically.

We had some windows replaced, and it was cold, snowing at times actually when they put them in, so I re-caulked areas that they missed or where they didn't apply enough. The Stanley caulking flows and sticks well. and I really like the screw on nozzle with cap. It's so much better than regular caulking tubes where you have to cut the tip and then plug with a nail or something. If the caulking holds up as well as the Stanley name, I won't be surprised!

Silicone is wonderful stuff for sealing exterior windows and doors, I’ve used tons of the stuff when I used to install stained glass window in churches. I wish we’d had this product instead of some of the commercial stuff we were using. I never got used the stink of the silicone. I have no idea what organic vapors were coming off the stuff, probably not terrible but the smell always bothered me. This Stanley products has minimal odor that I could detect. It behaved like any other silicone caulk, easily covered gaps of up to 1/2”, set up fairly quickly and dried clear. But no silicone stink. It’s priced like other silicones, maybe even a little cheaper. The screw on tip is something I’ve only found in commercial products which means you don’t have to trash the tube if you don’t use it all. I trust the Stanley name having used their tools for years and would recommend this product. I’d certainly buy again.

I opened the windows while doing the caulking and I started to smell the smell of fertilizer after some time. I asked my wife and she smelled it as well. I went outside to throw out the trash and the air was fresh. After about 2 hours the smell in the room went away. The silicone sticks well to the surface and hopefully it'll help keep out some of the ants and drafts.

It has been my experience that Stanley makes the longest shelf life silicone and caulking products because of their packaging and screw-on nozzle caps that are included with all their products. This silicone will stay fresh for months after opening it if you carefully screw on the included cap. I used it for a bathroom project and then left it with the cap on for over a month, tried it for an outdoor project, it flowed immediately and seemed to be just as fresh as the day I opened it. I wish every caulking product used their packaging, it would save a lot of waste. The silicone has good adhesion, seems to be UV resistant, and is easy to work with other than the strong smell when it is applied. Just have some good ventilation and it's perfect.

I got this to essentially repair the windshield gasket/seal on an older jeep. The original seal has become brittle and pulled away from the glass. I cleaned the old rubber, lightly roughed it up, taped off the glass and window frame and applied this silicone, working it in to the openings around the old seal. It's stuck so far and hasn't leaked when I wash the jeep.

This is great stuff. It is easily to apply and dries fairly quickly. It sticks to most any surface and is durable and long lasting. It stores well without hardening up and is very weather resistant. You need a caulking gun for application. I am using it to reseal and area around vents on the top of an RV. Damon M. Tatem

I am becoming a big fan of Stanley adhesives. This all weather silicone worked great for sealing up a project I was working on that will need to be outdoors year round. The silicone was easy to control out of a gun and cured relatively fast. I was impressed. I feel confident it will hold up, but will report back if it doesn't. Great product though, in my opinion.

This is a quality silicone sealant. Dispenses smoothly, dries fairly quickly, has good viscosity. The only reason I take away one star is the price - $13 for a 10oz tube is at the very top of the competition's price range, both on Amazon and in big box stores.

Works just like other flexible silicone sealant from the big box store. It sets up easily, adheres to various surfaces and set up firm but with flexible consistency I took off a star because it is pricier than similar products found in big box stores.

This tube of caulk fits in a standard caulking gun, it comes out easy and smooth. I was easily able to push it into the cracks around the tin that finishes off my garage door opening. The caulk dried nicely and didn't crack upon drying.
