Kraken Bond Super Flex Joint Sealant is an elastic, single-component, MS polymer-based joint sealant designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. This low modulus sealant is highly thixotropic, making it suitable for horizontal and vertical joints. It offers high bond strength on nearly all surfaces, and it does not contain solvent, silicone, or isocyanate. With excellent UV resistance and over-paintable with water-based paints, it ensures durable and long-lasting seals in various construction applications, making it a reliable flexy seal. The sealant meets the requirements of VOC content specifications in LEED credit EQc4.1, French VOC requirements for class A+, and is CE marked for EN 15651 for facade and glazing applications.

How to Use:

• Safety Precautions: Ensure good ventilation in the work area. Wear personal protective equipment. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product. Always wash hands after handling.
• Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease and dust. Cut the tip of the cartridge and fix the plastic cap. Cut the tip of the cap to match the width of the surface and fix it to the cartridge gun.
• Application: Apply the sealant in the joints in one go, ensuring no gaps. Smooth the surface immediately with a dampened spatula, glazing tool, joint iron, or by hand. The optimal bond thickness should be at least 0.1 inches to achieve full elastic properties. Protect from moisture until fully cured.
• Finishing: Remove adhesive tape if used. Clean contaminated areas and tools with white spirit or alcohol within 10 minutes. Once cured, the sealant can only be removed mechanically.
