How to Use
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and grease-free.
- Application Temperature: Apply between +41°F (5°C) and +104°F (40°C) using a caulking gun.
- Joint Depth: The depth must be much less than the width; minimum dimensions are 0.2 x 0.2 inches (5x5 mm). For wider joints, depth should be half the width, adjusted using backup material.
- Tooling: Tool the sealant with light pressure within 5 minutes to spread the material against the joint surfaces for a professional finish.
- Cleaning: Clean excess uncured sealant with solvent. Cured sealant can be removed mechanically.
- Recommended Joint Widths: For joint widths between 0.24 inches (6 mm) and 0.47 inches (12 mm), a joint depth of 0.24 inches (6 mm) is recommended. The ideal width-to-depth ratio is approximately 2:1.
