Sprayman Fire Stop B2 Gun Foam Sealant provides exceptional sealing and insulation for extensive gap filling and fireproofing needs. How to Use
- Safety Precautions: Contains Diphenylmethane-4,4'-Diisocyanate. Avoid inhaling the spray/vapor. Use gloves and protective clothing in a well-ventilated area.
- Surface Preparation: Clean surfaces of dust, grease, and contaminants before use. Lightly moisten surfaces above 32°F for better adhesion.
- Product Preparation: If the can is too cold or hot, bring it to room temperature. Optimal can temperature is 68°F.
- Application: Shake the can vigorously before use. For gun applicator, attach to the gun, invert and dispense slowly. For straw applicator, attach the straw, invert the can, and apply the foam slowly. Start from the bottom of the gap and work upwards to avoid overfilling as the foam will expand.
- Cleaning: For uncured foam, use a spray foam cleaner (not included); mechanical removal is required once cured.
- Finishing: Tack-free within 6±3 minutes, fully cured within 24 hours. Once cured, it can be painted or plastered to protect against UV.
