Akfix AS606 is a one-component acrylic emulsion-based sealant reinforced with silicone emulsion. It is ideal for various sealing applications due to its superior adhesion and excellent elasticity. The silicone sealant is easy to apply, cures quickly, and is resistant to most chemicals.

Application Areas

How to Use
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and rust.
- Priming: No primer is needed for non-porous surfaces. Mix one part acrylic sealant with 4 to 5 parts water as a primer for porous surfaces.
- Application Temperature: Apply between +5°C and +35°C.
- Joint Depth/Width Ratio: Maintain a 1:2 depth-to-width ratio, with minimum dimensions of 5mm x 5mm.
- Smoothing: Smooth the sealant immediately after application with a wet finger or tool.
- Cleaning: Remove excess sealant with a wet cloth. Keep the sealed joint dry for at least two hours. Cured sealant can be removed mechanically.
