Akfix 100E Universal Silicone Sealant is a one-component acetoxy cure silicone sealant designed for a variety of general sealing and glazing applications. How to Use

• Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and grease-free.
• Application Temperature: Apply between +5°C and +40°C.
• Joint Depth: The depth must be much less than the width; minimum dimensions are 5x5 mm. (0.2x0.2 inches) For wider joints, depth should be half the width, adjusted using backup material.
• Tooling: Tool the sealant with light pressure within 5 minutes to spread the material against the joint surfaces for a professional finish.
• Cleaning: Clean excess uncured sealant with solvent. Cured sealant can be removed mechanically.
• Recommended Joint Widths: For joint widths between 6 mm to 12 mm (0.24 to 0.47 inches), a 6 mm (0.24 inches) joint depth is recommended. Joint width and depth ratio should be about 2:1.
