Akfix 966P Subfloor Pu Adhesive is a one-component premium polyurethane-based adhesive formulated for bonding floor joists, subflooring, trusses, particle boards, OSB, and decks. This new-generation flooring adhesive offers superior adhesion to lumber, plywood, concrete, metals, masonry, and other substrates, even in frozen or slightly damp conditions.

How to Use
- Optimal Can Temperature: Ensure the can temperature is +20°C.
- Application Temperature: Apply between +5°C and +30°C.
- Shake Well: Shake the can well before and between uses.
- Attach to Applicator Gun: Screw the can onto an applicator gun.
- Application: Keep the can upside down during application. Regulate foam output with the trigger and adjustment screw.
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean and free of oil or dust. Can adhere to slightly damp surfaces.
- Dispense Adhesive: Apply a uniform 9-12mm bead on the center of all floor joints. For panel edges, apply two beads side by side or one 12mm bead in a zig-zag pattern.
- Set Subfloor Decking: Press subfloor decking into place within 10 minutes of application and complete nailing.
- Full Bond Time: Minimum holding power is 2 hours, with full bond time achieved in 5 days.
- Clean-Up: Clean fresh foam with Akfix Foam Cleaner. Cured foam can be removed mechanically.
